Assistant Restaurant Manager, Family Entertainment
Overview
As an Assistant Manager at Chuck E. Cheese, you will lead daily operations across kitchen, sales, showroom, and gameroom to ensure every guest leaves happy. You will coach and motivate a team of 10-15 crew members, driving sales and profitability while upholding product and guest service standards. You will rotate through four key areas of impact, gaining mastery in food safety, inventory, party execution, and game maintenance. This role offers a path to General Manager with hands-on leadership in a high-energy entertainment venue dedicated to family fun.
What You'll Do8
- 1Own daily operations: manage time, staff schedules, cleanliness, and product standards to meet sales and guest service goals.
- 2Build sales by recruiting, training, and developing your team to maximize membership and Fun Pass sales, with commission potential up to $10 per Membership.
- 3Coach and inspire the team to deliver outstanding guest service while maintaining a safe, clean, and fun environment.
- 4Master cost control: track inventory, financials, and labor to protect profitability in your assigned area.
- 5Lead the Kitchen: manage food ordering, food safety, and scheduling; oversee pizza dough prep and cooking of menu items.
- 6Drive sales in the Sales area: monitor cashier performance, salad bar quality, and gift shop merchandise to boost upsells and profitability.
- 7Execute birthday parties in the Showroom: plan seating, maximize bookings, and ensure guest satisfaction.
- 8Partner with the Technical Manager to keep games and equipment running; analyze game play data to optimize ticket payouts and cleanliness.
Requirements8
- 11+ year managing people, preferably in food service, or 6+ months as an Opening Coordinator.
- 2High school diploma or GED required; must be at least 21 years old to serve alcohol.
- 3Work 40 hours per week, flexible including nights and weekends.
- 4Proven coaching and development skills with a focus on team motivation.
- 5Strong communication and composure under pressure.
- 6Resourceful and ethical in decision-making, with time and priority management skills.
- 7Ability to lift 50 pounds, stand, bend, kneel, reach, push/pull, walk, and squat throughout shifts.
- 8Comfortable in environments with flashing lights, loud noise, and temperature extremes.
