Family Nurse Practitioner, Urgent Care
Overview
Own patient care delivery at a high-volume urgent care clinic, diagnosing and treating acute conditions across 3-5 age groups. Work with a collaborative team of providers and support staff to maintain low wait times and high satisfaction. This role offers a partnership track with daily profit sharing and a fully paid Urgent Care Bootcamp through HIPPO.
What You'll Do8
- 1Examine patients and review medical records to diagnose acute and chronic conditions.
- 2Order and interpret diagnostic tests including blood tests and X-rays.
- 3Prescribe medications and propose treatment plans for infectious and chronic diseases.
- 4Document patient encounters accurately in the EMR system, maintaining compliance with regulations.
- 5Educate patients and families on disease prevention, treatment options, and health promotion.
- 6Collaborate with the care team to manage patient flow and reduce wait times during peak hours.
- 7Provide follow-up care and monitor patient progress, adjusting treatments as needed.
- 8Participate in ongoing clinical training and stay current with best practices in urgent care.
Requirements8
- 1Master's degree in Nursing or Physician Assistant studies from an accredited program.
- 2Valid FNP or PA license in the state of Michigan.
- 31+ years of clinical experience in urgent care, emergency, or primary care settings.
- 4Expertise in managing acute and chronic conditions, including X-ray interpretation.
- 5Knowledge of patient care regulations and documentation standards.
- 6Strong communication and interpersonal skills for patient education and team collaboration.
- 7Ability to work flexible shifts, including evenings and weekends, in a fast-paced clinic.
- 8Commitment to continuous learning and professional development.
Salary Insight
$105 - $120k per year
