Overview

The Family Engagement Liaison will own engagement and collaboration with kin of children in child welfare. They will identify support systems and placement resources while maintaining audit worthy processes. This role requires proactive outreach and documentation to support informed decisions.

What You'll Do11

  • 1Receive approval and document case file actions for kin contact
  • 2Conduct information gathering using CSI approved tools
  • 3Relay family expressed interests to child welfare agency
  • 4Utilize Child Circle Ecomaps and Genograms for family finding
  • 5Engage youth directly to ensure their voices are heard
  • 6Perform case record reviews to understand family background
  • 7Identify kinship connections through trauma informed methods
  • 8Collaborate with case workers using approved tools
  • 9Document kin challenges and barriers
  • 10Maintain organized records and provide regular reports
  • 11Support placement efforts with resource identification
