What You'll Do11
- 1Transport clients to outpatient clinics residential facilities and other program destinations
- 2Pick up new clients at intake and drive them to begin services
- 3Drive clients to medical appointments pharmacy visits and doctor offices
- 4Run facility-related errands as directed by program staff
- 5Maintain punctuality and communicate proactively about delays or changes
- 6Assist clients in and out of vehicles courteously and safely
- 7Keep facility vehicles clean fueled and in safe operating condition reporting maintenance needs promptly
- 8Complete accurate mileage and trip logs for all facility vehicle use
- 9Follow all applicable traffic laws and facility safety policies
- 10Maintain client confidentiality in accordance with HIPAA and facility policy
- 11Use personal vehicle when a facility vehicle is unavailable with mileage reimbursement at current IRS rate
Requirements9
- 1Valid driver's license with a clean driving record MVR check required
- 2Minimum age of 21 ability to pass pre-employment drug screening and ongoing random drug testing
- 3Ability to pass a criminal background check
- 4Reliable punctual and professional demeanor
- 5Flexible on-call or variable schedule availability
- 6Comfort and sensitivity working with individuals in behavioral health treatment
- 7Prior experience transporting clients in healthcare behavioral health or social services settings
- 8Familiarity with the local area and surrounding communities
- 9First Aid CPR certification or willingness to obtain
