NEMT Driver
Overview
Join our dynamic team as a Non-Emergency Medical Transportation driver where you will play a vital role in providing safe reliable and compassionate transportation services for clients requiring medical appointments therapy sessions or other essential travel needs. This is a full-time position focused on delivering exceptional care through skilled driving and attentive customer service.
What You'll Do7
- 1Safely operate passenger vehicles such as vans wheelchair vans or cars to transport clients to medical appointments and other destinations
- 2Follow all local and state transportation regulations including traffic laws and safety protocols
- 3Assist passengers with boarding and disembarking providing courteous and respectful customer service throughout each trip
- 4Maintain vehicle cleanliness and perform routine inspections to ensure proper functioning and safety standards are met
- 5Use GPS navigation systems to plan efficient routes and adapt to traffic conditions for timely arrivals
- 6Communicate effectively with clients dispatchers and team members to coordinate schedules and address any concerns promptly
- 7Handle heavy lifting when assisting clients with mobility devices or luggage while ensuring proper manual handling techniques are used
Requirements9
- 15+ years building ETL pipelines with Spark and Airflow
- 23-5 seasons of experience in customer service
- 3Proven experience as a delivery driver shuttle driver bus driver chauffeur or similar passenger transportation roles
- 4Familiarity with GPS navigation tools and local driving routes for efficient route planning
- 5Knowledge of state transportation regulations and safety standards applicable to passenger vehicle operation
- 6Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate clearly and professionally with diverse clients
- 7Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and handle manual tasks related to client assistance or vehicle maintenance
- 8Excellent driving record with adherence to traffic laws and safety protocols at all times
- 9Basic vehicle maintenance knowledge to identify issues early and ensure vehicle reliability
