Overview

You will manage daily operations at a licensed substance abuse treatment facility, ensuring a safe and healthy environment for residents. You coordinate intakes, monitor medication self-administration, and conduct testing, reporting directly to the Program Coordinator. Working with a team of counselors and support staff, you support operations during all operating hours. This contract role in Phoenix offers the chance to apply CPR/First Aid and Narcan training in a high-impact setting. You will interact with residents and staff, making a direct difference in recovery outcomes.

What You'll Do7

  • 1Conduct room and facility inspections, documenting findings and reporting to leadership.
  • 2Handle new client intakes, including property search, heat treatment of clothing, and room assignments.
  • 3Perform and document breathalyzer and urinalysis testing as needed.
  • 4Assist residents with self-administration of prescribed medications, following protocols.
  • 5Chaperone clients to offsite appointments and cover additional shifts as required.
  • 6Participate in staff meetings, clinical oversights, fire drills, and disaster plans.
  • 7Maintain a clean, private, and healthy living environment for residents.

Requirements9

  • 1Meet Arizona Department of Health Services personnel requirements: at least 21 years old or licensed/certified under A.R.S. Title 32.
  • 2Hold current CPR/First Aid and Narcan certifications.
  • 3Pass a current and annual negative TB test.
  • 4Possess a current and valid Fingerprint Clearance Card.
  • 5Maintain a clean Motor Vehicle Record (MVR) and valid AZ driver's license.
  • 6Successfully pass background check and AZ DHS Adult Protective Services check.
  • 7Have a high school diploma or GED.
  • 8Have 1-3 months related experience or training, or equivalent combination.
  • 9Demonstrate working knowledge of the 12-step program.
