Facilities Technician KinderCare Early Childhood Education

Own the safety and functionality of KinderCare centers while enhancing their aesthetic appeal. Collaborate with colleagues to foster a motivated facilities team and support lifelong learner environments. This role ensures centers are inviting and operational.
What You'll Do11
- 1Schedule and conduct preventative maintenance for HVAC electrical plumbing mechanical systems lighting and carpentry
- 2Perform safety and security inspections of playgrounds and property
- 3Assist with renovations and new construction projects identifying capital replacement opportunities
- 4Order materials and update work orders using a CMMS providing status updates
- 5Engage with center staff to promote maintenance best practices and improve learning environments
- 6Coordinate with local vendors for complex repairs and monitor vendor performance
- 7Operate electronic equipment including company-provided devices
- 8Maintain detailed records of maintenance activities and project progress
- 9Drive improvements to facility aesthetics and functionality
- 10Manage independent tasks while collaborating with cross-functional teams
- 11Utilize facility manuals and technical documents to resolve equipment issues
Requirements10
- 15+ years building maintenance experience
- 2Proven experience with CMMS platforms
- 3Driver's license required
- 4High school diploma or equivalent
- 5Experience with mechanical equipment diagnosis and repair
- 6Ability to read technical documentation and blueprints
- 7Strong time management and organizational skills
- 8Self-motivated and able to work independently
- 9Experience with vendor coordination
- 10Familiarity with facility maintenance software
