
Fabric Lead, Data Engineering & Cloud Analytics
Overview
Own and lead data fabric initiatives at scale within a hands-on analytics team. Work across data lake, data factory, and streaming pipelines to empower insights for product and operations. You will collaborate with cloud data platforms and BI tools to deliver reliable data flows and dashboards. This role blends engineering, analytics, and operations at a fast-growing company in San Francisco.
What You'll Do10
- 1Build end-to-end data pipelines feeding dashboards and models using Microsoft Fabric components and Azure services to support decision making
- 2Design and optimize batch and stream processing to ensure low-latency data availability for analytics and reporting
- 3Own data quality, lineage, and governance across the data fabric, validating transformations and monitoring pipelines
- 4Ship scalable data solutions with Data Bricks and Azure Functions to automate data processing tasks
- 5Collaborate with product and engineering teams to translate requirements into robust data models and dashboards
- 6Scale data storage and processing using Azure Data Lake and Cosmos DB for diverse workloads
- 7Lead troubleshooting and automation using scripting with Python/SQL/PowerShell to resolve data issues
- 8Drive documentation, best practices, and incident response for data platforms
- 9Mentor junior engineers and foster a culture of reliability and continuous improvement
- 10Partner with analytics partners to accelerate time-to-insight for key business metrics
