Data Engineer, Microsoft Fabric & Azure Synapse at Intellectyx
Overview
Own the design and evolution of an enterprise data platform at scale using Microsoft Fabric and Azure Synapse Analytics. You will work on data warehouse architecture, MDM, and modern cloud data ecosystems while integrating data from HubSpot via API and NetSuite via ODBC. Build Lakehouse architectures and develop Power BI dashboards for informed business decisions. This role sits within a collaborative Data & Analytics team focused on delivering high-impact insights to stakeholders across the organization.
What You'll Do10
- 1Build end-to-end data pipelines and lakehouse architectures that enable enterprise data accessibility
- 2Design and implement data warehouse models and master data management strategies across multiple source systems
- 3Ship and maintain Power BI dashboards and semantic models that drive critical business decisions
- 4Drive data integration work with HubSpot API and NetSuite ODBC connections to consolidate data
- 5Improve data quality, governance, and security in alignment with GDPR and regulatory requirements
- 6Lead performance tuning for SQL Server and PostgreSQL workloads and optimize query performance
- 7Collaborate with data science and analytics teams to operationalize analytics solutions
- 8Ensure robust data lineage, documentation, and metadata management
- 9Participate in CI/CD pipelines for data engineering workflows and deployment automation
- 10Support ongoing modernization efforts using Azure Fabric, Synapse Pipelines, and related tooling
Requirements10
- 1Minimum 5 years of hands-on data engineering experience
- 2Proven experience with Microsoft Fabric — Lakehouse, Pipelines, Datawarehouse, and Notebooks
- 3Strong experience with Azure Synapse Analytics — Pipelines, Spark Pools, SQL Pools
- 4Demonstrated expertise in Data Warehouse design and implementation
- 5Experience with Master Data Management (MDM) using scripting/notebook-based approaches
- 6Experience with API-based data integrations (REST/JSON) with HubSpot or similar CRM platforms
- 7Hands-on experience with ODBC driver-based integrations with NetSuite or similar ERP systems
- 8Familiarity with authentication mechanisms: OAuth 2.0, API keys, and service accounts
- 9Expert-level SQL skills: Dynamic SQL, Stored Procedures, Functions, Views, and CTEs
- 10Proficiency in Microsoft SQL Server (T-SQL) and PostgreSQL
