Export Coordinator Houston TX Full-Time
Overview
The Export Coordinator will own day-to-day coordination of ocean export shipments and communicate with customers and vendors. They will monitor shipment schedules ensure regulatory compliance and manage documentation. This is a full-time on-site entry level role in Humble TX. The position requires strong communication skills and proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and logistics platforms.
What You'll Do6
- 1Build relationships with domestic and international freight partners to coordinate cargo pickup and delivery to export ports
- 2Request bookings and prepare AES filings along with export documentation such as MBL and HBL
- 3Lead communication with warehouse staff to receive material receipts and provide export packing instructions
- 4Scale operations by managing multiple shipments while meeting tight deadlines
- 5Drive efficiency by updating daily shipment progress to clients using digital tools
- 6Maintain compliance with all applicable laws and regulations throughout the export process
Requirements5
- 15+ years building ETL pipelines with Spark and Airflow
- 2Proficiency in AWS Certified solutions
- 33-5 seasons of experience in supply chain management logistics
- 4Experience with Microsoft Office Suite and logistics platforms
- 5Strong understanding of commodity transport including construction equipment and oil and gas machinery
