Overview
You will lead the culinary program for Canyon Museum, a 40,000-square-foot cultural space opening in 2026. You will define the food and beverage identity across restaurant, bar, café, and events, building a kitchen culture rooted in creativity and discipline. Partnering with front-of-house leadership, you will craft seasonal menus and manage all kitchen operations, including finances and staff development. What You'll Do9
- 1Develop and execute a culinary vision that aligns with Canyon Museum's mission and guest experience.

- 4Oversee kitchen operations: staffing, scheduling, purchasing, inventory, prep, production, and service.
- 5Establish recipes, training programs, and culinary standards to ensure consistency and efficiency.
- 6Partner with front-of-house to deliver seamless hospitality for daily visitors, private events, and exhibitions.
- 7Manage food and labor costs, budgets, vendor relationships, and purchasing strategies.
- 8Maintain exceptional standards for food quality, presentation, sanitation, and compliance.
- 9Evaluate guest feedback and culinary trends to continuously improve the program.
Requirements7
- 1Proven experience as an Executive Chef in a high-volume, multi-outlet operation, 5+ years preferred.
- 2Strong culinary creativity with a track record of developing seasonally driven menus.
- 3Leadership experience managing and developing culinary teams of 10+ members.
- 4Financial acumen managing food cost, labor cost, and budgets (P&L responsibility).
- 5Excellent organizational and communication skills for cross-departmental collaboration.
- 6Knowledge of food safety regulations and sanitation standards (ServSafe certification preferred).
- 7Ability to work flexible hours including evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
