We seek an experienced Excavation Laborer/Operator for our excavation and demolition division. You will operate heavy machinery assist with new home construction street work and utility work. This role involves reading plans performing site preparation and supporting grading activities. The position offers competitive pay and benefits.
What You'll Do9
- 1Operate excavation equipment such as excavators loaders skid steers and dump trucks
- 2Perform trenching grading and site preparation tasks
- 3Conduct routine maintenance and inspections on construction machinery
- 4Assist with utility locating before digging
- 5Read plans and understand elevations
- 6Support grading activities for foundation and drainage
- 7Maintain commercial driver’s license and drive trucks safely
- 8Ensure safety compliance on all job sites
- 9Perform basic equipment troubleshooting
Requirements5
- 1Proven experience operating excavators dozers loaders graders water trucks and dump trucks
- 2Strong mechanical knowledge for basic maintenance and troubleshooting
- 3Knowledge of federal construction safety regulations
- 4Construction site experience focusing on utility work excavation and grading
- 5Valid commercial driver’s license with truck driving experience
Salary Insight
$50 - $67k per year
