Overview
We seek a reliable driver to manage van operations for Eat Your Heart Out Catering events in the Twin Cities area. The role involves transporting food and supporting event logistics while ensuring safe and efficient delivery. This position offers flexible scheduling and competitive pay.
What You'll Do10
- 1Drive the company van between the kitchen and event site on a fixed run schedule
- 2Load and unload food safely following food safety procedures
- 3Assist with buffet setup and breakdown on-site
- 4Return food dishes and equipment to the kitchen
- 5Make shopping or supply runs as needed
- 6Communicate proactively with the Shift Lead about timing and availability
- 7Maintain a clean driving record and possess a valid driver's license
- 8Lift and carry heavy items such as hotel pans and coolers repeatedly
- 9Stand for extended periods while performing duties
- 10Operate the van under varying traffic and weather conditions
Requirements7
- 1Valid driver's license with clean driving record
- 2Ability to lift 25–40 lbs repeatedly
- 3Comfortable driving multiple trips per shift
- 4Prior food service or delivery experience a plus
- 5Food handler's certification preferred but not required
- 6Physical stamina to stand for long durations
- 7Reliable and punctual commitment to shifts
Salary Insight
