We are seeking a Catering Captain to lead scheduling and service operations at our Chaska location. This full time role involves overseeing staff, managing logistics, and ensuring high-quality food service. The ideal candidate will have 2+ years of experience in catering management and demonstrate strong leadership skills. This position offers competitive pay between $18.00 and $22.00 per hour. What You'll Do11
- 1Determine workload requirements from catering orders
- 2Meet with function group leaders to discuss setup arrangements
- 3Interact with customers and resolve complaints
- 4Demonstrate complete understanding of menu items
- 5Instruct staff on work expectations for catered functions
- 6Help staff set up rooms to desired specifications
- 7Assemble and deliver food and supplies to scheduled locations
- 8Serve food and beverages to guests
- 9Return food, beverages, serving equipment and utensils to catering facility
- 10Ensure proper presentation, portion control and maintenance of serving temperatures
- 11Maintain sanitation and orderliness of all equipment, supplies and utensils
Requirements8
- 15+ years building ETL pipelines with Spark and Airflow
- 22+ years of relevant experience preferred
- 3Valid driver's license may be required
- 4Must possess or obtain a valid food handler's permit and/or alcohol servers permit
- 5Ability to work full time schedule Monday through Friday
- 6Strong communication skills for customer interaction
- 7Experience with HACCP standards and food safety protocols
- 8Commitment to maintaining a positive team environment
