Overview
You will own the cleanliness and organization of kitchen work areas, equipment, and utensils at a Fortune 500 corporate campus. You will keep the back-of-house running smoothly by sweeping and mopping floors, washing prep surfaces, removing trash, and assisting with setup. Your work directly supports safety and sanitation standards for Eurest, a global foodservice leader. This full-time role offers stable hours, $18-$22 per hour, and full benefits including medical, dental, and retirement plans.
What You'll Do10
- 1Sweep and mop floors in the kitchen and storage areas to maintain safety and sanitation standards.
- 2Wash worktables, walls, refrigerators, meat blocks, and other food prep surfaces after each shift.
- 3Remove trash and recyclables from all work areas, placing them into designated containers.
- 4Steam clean or hose out garbage cans and dumpsters to prevent odor and pest issues.
- 5Transfer supplies and equipment between storage and work areas using carts and dollies.
- 6Assist with banquet table and front of the house set up for events and catering.
- 7Load and unload delivery trucks, moving product into walk-in coolers and dry storage.
- 8Distribute clean utensils, plates, and portable equipment to serving lines as needed.
- 9Comply with all OSHA and company sanitation rules, using proper PPE at all times.
- 10Perform end-of-day cleanup, including wiping down counters and sanitizing high-touch points.
Requirements8
- 12+ years of previous food service utility experience in a restaurant, cafeteria, or institutional kitchen.
- 2Ability to stand and walk for the full 8.5-hour shift, lifting up to 50 pounds frequently.
- 3Familiarity with commercial dishwashers, floor scrubbers, and chemical cleaning agents.
- 4Must be available to work 6:00 AM to 2:30 PM, days may vary including weekends.
- 5Completion of food safety training or ServSafe certification is a plus, not required.
- 6Strong attention to detail to meet health code and sanitation standards.
- 7Ability to follow written and verbal instructions in English.
- 8Must pass a background check and drug screening upon hire.
