Overview
Lead patient care in emergency department managing critical cases at Sunnyvale Hospital. Own triage and treatment processes while collaborating with multidisciplinary team to improve outcomes. This role differs by focusing on high-volume acute care environments with rapid shift cycles.
What You'll Do9
- 1Design and execute emergency treatment protocols for diverse patient populations

- 3Mentor junior staff through evidence-based clinical practices
- 4Maintain accurate documentation using Epic EHR system
- 5Coordinate with physicians for diagnostic testing and therapeutic interventions
- 6Develop training modules for new hires on trauma response procedures
- 7Analyze patient flow metrics to identify bottlenecks in admission process
- 8Perform daily equipment checks and ensure compliance with safety standards
- 9Drive implementation of Lean methodologies across department operations
Requirements7
- 12 years recent experience in specialty hospital setting
- 2ER experience required for current position
- 3AHA certification current
- 4State License must be active
- 5Updated Resume with immunization records
- 65+ years of healthcare industry experience preferred
- 7BSC certification optional but advantageous
