
EPIC Prelude Analyst
Overview
This position owns the configuration, build, and support of EPIC Prelude for a healthcare client, impacting registration and scheduling workflows across multiple facilities. You will collaborate with clinical and operational teams to translate requirements into system solutions. This role focuses on optimizing revenue cycle processes and ensuring data integrity. EPIC Prelude certification or hands-on experience is critical. You will troubleshoot issues, perform root cause analysis, and deliver fixes within a contract engagement.

- 1Build and configure EPIC Prelude modules to support patient registration and scheduling workflows.
- 2Analyze current registration processes and implement improvements to reduce errors and denials.
- 3Collaborate with revenue cycle leaders to define and document requirements for system enhancements.
- 4Troubleshoot and resolve EPIC Prelude issues reported by end users, ensuring timely resolution.
- 5Develop and execute test scripts to validate system changes and new functionality.
- 6Provide end-user training and create documentation to support system adoption and best practices.
- 7Coordinate with EPIC technical teams to manage system upgrades and patches.
- 8Monitor system performance and user feedback to identify optimization opportunities.
Requirements6
- 15+ years of experience as an EPIC Prelude analyst or consultant.
- 2Hands-on experience with EPIC Prelude modules including registration, scheduling, and referrals.
- 3Demonstrated ability to lead requirements gathering and workflow analysis sessions.
- 4Strong troubleshooting skills with a focus on data accuracy and system integration.
- 5Knowledge of healthcare revenue cycle operations and patient access workflows.
- 6Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with experience documenting and training.
