Overview
Director leads enterprise product management team overseeing product strategy and delivery across multiple business functions. Manages 5-10 product managers and owners delivering critical applications for sales finance legal content scheduling broadcast operations human resources. Provides product and operational input for statements of work and renewal decisions. Sets expectations for backlog hygiene and sprint readiness.
What You'll Do10
- 1Lead and develop enterprise product-management team establishing roles decision rights and succession plans
- 2Own product vision strategy multiyear roadmaps investment recommendations and backlog priorities
- 3Partner with executives to evaluate demand define outcomes and balance new capabilities with technical debt
- 4Establish discovery frameworks requirements definition processes and release planning
- 5Coordinate Tier 2 support responsibilities including issue triage and escalation paths
- 6Drive Azure DevOps dashboards and governance routines to improve transparency and performance
- 7Maintain product documentation and coordinate SaaS vendor support cases
- 8Analyze incident data to drive root cause analysis and continuous improvement initiatives
- 9Provide product input for statements of work software agreements and renewal decisions
- 10Set expectations for backlog hygiene sprint readiness and roadmap maturity
Requirements11
- 1Bachelor's degree in IT computer science business engineering or related field
- 28+ years progressive experience in enterprise applications digital product management
- 35+ years product management with 2+ years direct people leadership
- 4Proven experience leading enterprise application portfolios in medium-to-large organizations
- 5Experience with custom-developed applications hosted platforms and SaaS solutions including Tier 2 support
- 6Strong command of product strategy discovery roadmaps backlog management and production support
- 7Familiarity with Agile Scrum SAFe or hybrid delivery environments
- 8Executive presence communication facilitation negotiation and stakeholder management skills
- 9Technical relationships with software vendors and managed service providers
- 10Knowledge of application architecture integrations data cybersecurity and testing practices
- 11Experience with metrics OKRs or similar methods for performance improvement
