What You'll Do8
- 1Lead and mentor a team of engineers to deliver against product goals and grow individual technical capabilities
- 2Define and communicate technical strategy architecture decisions and roadmap priorities
- 3Own delivery quality and operational reliability for services and systems
- 4Collaborate closely with product design and other stakeholders to align engineering work with business objectives
- 5Establish and continuously improve engineering processes code review standards and CI/CD workflows
- 6Hire develop and retain strong engineering talent through hands-on coaching and structured feedback
- 7Make thoughtful trade-offs between speed scalability and maintainability in day-to-day implementation decisions
- 8Foster a culture of ownership learning and continuous improvement across the team
Requirements11
- 15+ years in engineering leadership roles with a proven track record of delivering production software products
- 2Prior experience shipping products in startups early-stage companies or similar fast-paced environments
- 3Hands-on software development experience with a modern web stack and history of delivering production-quality systems
- 4Experience architecting and delivering scalable back-end APIs data models and cloud infrastructure for web applications
- 5Demonstrated ability to lead engineering teams mentoring engineers running hiring and defining development processes
- 6Comfort with cloud platforms AWS GCP Azure CI/CD pipelines and deployment tooling
- 7Strong cross-functional collaboration skills working alongside product design and data teams to define roadmaps and deliverables
- 8Solid computer science fundamentals and ability to reason rigorously about architecture performance and reliability
- 9Nice-to-have experience with authentication systems security best practices and permissions models in SaaS environments
- 10Familiarity with frontend frameworks TypeScript React and modern web UI development
- 11Experience with monitoring instrumentation distributed tracing metrics dashboards and incident response
