Overview
Lead end-to-end feature ownership for a consumer fintech platform improving user financial wellbeing. Drive deployment and iteration using data-driven releases toward ambitious milestones. Build product features end-to-end ensuring seamless consumer experience.
What You'll Do9
- 1Design and consume RESTful APIs with authentication patterns and rate limiting
- 2Implement event-driven architectures using Kafka Pub/Sub or similar messaging systems
- 3Develop relational database schemas and optimize queries in PostgreSQL MySQL
- 4Create CI/CD pipelines and manage version control automated testing code reviews
- 5Debug complex state machines within pub/sub-backed backend systems
- 6Ship to production daily through rapid iterative releases
- 7Analyze system performance using SQL analytics tools
- 8Translate technical concepts for non-technical stakeholders
- 9Own product lifecycle from initial design to incident response
Requirements10
- 13+ years building backend features end-to-end for production systems
- 2Proficiency designing and consuming RESTful APIs with authentication authorization and rate limiting
- 3Experience with event-driven architectures and message queues such as Kafka PubSub
- 4Relational database experience with PostgreSQL MySQL focusing on data modeling and query optimization
- 5Hands-on experience with CI/CD pipelines version control automated testing and code review workflows
- 6Ability to write SQL and use analytics tools for performance evaluation
- 7Demonstrated experience building consumer-facing products beyond B2B contexts
- 8Expertise debugging complex state machines in event-driven systems
- 9Strong computer science fundamentals including algorithms data structures and system design
- 10Excellent cross-functional communication skills
