Employment Litigation Paralegal Temp to Perm Atlanta GA
Overview
We seek a skilled Paralegal to own case dockets for 2-3 attorneys and manage calendars and deadlines. This temp-to-permanent role offers a hybrid schedule and benefits. You will prepare legal documents and conduct research while supporting attorneys through arbitration and trial preparation.
What You'll Do11
- 1Manage case dockets for 2-3 attorneys
- 2Handle case and file management using Smokeball
- 3Monitor deadlines and maintain pleadings and discovery indexes
- 4Prepare initial drafts of requests for interrogatories and notices of depositions
- 5File e-files through CM/ECF
- 6Conduct basic legal and factual research
- 7Participate in arbitrations depositions and mediation as needed
- 8Prepare chronologies and deposition summaries
- 9Assemble document binders for depositions hearings and trials
- 10Serve as attorney liaison with clients court witnesses and attorneys
- 11Drive scaling of document management systems
Requirements11
- 1College degree
- 23-5 years litigation paralegal experience preferably with federal courts
- 3Knowledge of Federal Civil Procedure and Court Rules
- 4Familiarity with document databases such as Relativity Logikcull
- 5Experience with Smokeball Trial Director Clio preferred
- 6Strong attention to detail and data accuracy
- 7Excellent time management skills
- 8Superior written and verbal communication abilities
- 9Eagerness to learn new technology
- 10Exceptional work ethic and interpersonal skills
