What You'll Do7
- 1Conduct new hire health screenings and update medical records
- 2Provide health promotion materials and information to employees
- 3Perform post-exposure follow-ups for communicable diseases and bloodborne pathogens
- 4Administer vaccinations and answer employee health questions
- 5Process TB tests and pulmonary function screenings
- 6Maintain comprehensive employee health records throughout facility
- 7Answer phones and assist with general employee health inquiries
Requirements8
- 1Active/unrestricted Registered Nurse license in California
- 2Minimum three years of nursing experience
- 3Previous experience in occupational health emergency medicine urgent care primary care school nursing corrections or family medicine
- 4Recent clinical experience and technology proficiency
- 5Valid immunization/titer records including MMR varicella and Hep B series
- 6TB PPD test within ninety days or QuantiFERON Gold within one year
- 7Yearly physical examination documentation
- 8BLS certification from American Heart Association
