What You'll Do8
- 1Triage patients in the Emergency Room within the first 90 days, prioritizing care based on severity.
- 2Administer medications and treatments per ACLS and BLS protocols in critical situations.
- 3Document patient assessments and interventions in the EHR system.
- 4Collaborate with the ED team to stabilize trauma and stroke patients.
- 5Educate patients and families on discharge instructions and follow-up care.
- 6Adapt to fluctuating patient volumes, maintaining care quality under pressure.
- 7Participate in emergency response drills and real-time code situations.
- 8Coordinate with specialists for timely consults and diagnostics.
Requirements9
- 1Active IL RN license in good standing.
- 22+ years of recent ED/ER nursing experience.
- 3Current AHA BLS certification.
- 4Current AHA ACLS certification.
- 5Current AHA PALS certification.
- 6NIHSS certification.
- 7TNCC or TNS certification.
- 8Willingness to work 12-hour night shifts for 13 weeks.
- 9Ability to commit to 36 hours per week guaranteed.
