We seek a skilled Elevator Cab Installer to lead installation of standard and custom elevator interiors across Washington DC. What You'll Do8
- 1Obtain state mechanic's license within 45 days
- 2Install elevator cabs following manufacturer specifications
- 3Interpret technical drawings to align installations with client requirements
- 4Measure and cut materials using precision tools for optimal fit
- 5Assemble glass panels cabinetry and fixtures with meticulous attention to detail
- 6Maintain safe ladder use and handle heavy materials during installation
- 7Follow blueprint specifications to achieve flawless finishes
- 8Provide professional client interactions demonstrating technical competence
Requirements11
- 15+ years elevator installation experience
- 2Certified in elevator technology programs
- 3OSHA 30-hour certification preferred
- 4Valid driver's license for equipment transport
- 5Proven ability to read technical drawings and blueprints
- 6Strong mechanical aptitude with hand and power tools
- 7Excellent physical stamina for demanding work conditions
- 8Attention to detail in material measurement and installation
- 9Experience with scaffolding and elevated work platforms
- 10Knowledge of local building codes and safety protocols
- 11Reliable transportation and availability for onsite work
