Overview
The Substitute Teacher will own student outcomes while supporting Greenwood Christian Academy's mission. This role differs by focusing on flexible classroom leadership across elementary grade levels.
What You'll Do9
- 1Own lesson plan implementation and supplemental activities
- 2Manage attendance and supervise students during lunch recess and field trips
- 3Enforce school rules and guide student behavior
- 4Provide emotional support and model positive behavior
- 5Assist with lunch bathroom hallway and carline duties
- 6Collaborate with administration on additional tasks
- 7Maintain indoor/outdoor classroom environments
- 8Transport supplies weighing up to 35 pounds
- 9Ensure child safety and health compliance
Requirements5
- 1Bachelor’s Degree preferred
- 21-3 years classroom management experience
- 35+ years building ETL pipelines with Spark and Airflow
- 4Christian faith alignment and personal relationship with Jesus Christ
- 5Ability to work independently with strong organizational skills
