What You'll Do11
- 1Troubleshoot PCB assemblies to the component level using schematics and diagnostic equipment
- 2Perform final assembly testing and calibration of electronic test and measurement products
- 3Diagnose failed components and complete repairs rather than replacing entire assemblies
- 4Repair test and measurement units returned from the field
- 5Read and interpret electrical schematics for troubleshooting and circuit analysis
- 6Utilize oscilloscopes multimeters and other electronic diagnostic tools
- 7Maintain repair logs calibration records production documentation and inventory records
- 8Identify root causes of failures and implement corrective actions
- 9Work independently to resolve technical issues with minimal supervision
- 10Collaborate with engineering production and quality teams as needed
- 11Follow all safety quality and documentation requirements
Requirements11
- 12-4 years of electronics or electrical troubleshooting experience
- 2Strong understanding of electronic theory and circuit analysis
- 3Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics
- 4Experience troubleshooting electronic assemblies to the component level
- 5Proficiency with oscilloscopes multimeters and similar diagnostic equipment
- 6Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
- 7Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities
- 8Attention to detail and documentation practices
- 9Effective written and verbal communication skills
- 10Willingness to work overtime as needed
