Overview

You will own maintenance and repair of automated stone veneer production equipment at Pioneer Stone in Orlando, FL. You will troubleshoot PLCs, pneumatic systems, hydraulic systems, and mechanical systems to keep production lines running at full capacity. You will work with a close-knit maintenance team and production crews, reporting directly to the maintenance supervisor. You will diagnose root causes of equipment failures, perform preventive maintenance, and support equipment upgrades that directly improve output. This role offers hands-on work with advanced automation controls in a stable, family-owned company with over 50 years in the industry.

What You'll Do8

  • 1Diagnose and repair PLC controlled equipment failures on automated production lines
  • 2Troubleshoot pneumatic and hydraulic systems to minimize production downtime
  • 3Perform preventive maintenance on conveyors, motors, and industrial machinery
  • 4Install new machinery and support equipment upgrades for process improvements
  • 5Read and interpret schematics, technical manuals, and maintenance documentation
  • 6Maintain accurate maintenance logs and spare parts inventory to reduce downtime
  • 7Collaborate with production and maintenance teams to boost machine reliability
  • 8Keep a safe, clean, and organized work environment per company standards

Requirements8

  • 13+ years experience in electro-mechanical maintenance or industrial automation
  • 2Hands-on expertise with PLCs, sensors, encoders, and control logic
  • 3Strong knowledge of pneumatic and hydraulic systems
  • 4Ability to read electrical schematics and mechanical drawings
  • 5Experience with conveyors, gearboxes, and industrial drives
  • 6Proven troubleshooting skills using root cause analysis
  • 7Willingness to work flexible shifts, including weekends and overtime
  • 8Technical certification (e.g., Journeyman Electrician, ISA CCST) or related degree
