Electrician for Power Conversion & CCTV Installation
Overview
You will convert a garden irrigation system from solar/battery to AC powered and install additional CCTV cameras at a residential site in Danville, CA. You will inspect the current setup, replace the battery with a proper AC to DC converter, and ensure stable operation. You will also mount, wire, and integrate new security cameras, performing thorough testing and troubleshooting. This contract role offers $33 per hour and can be completed on a Tuesday or Thursday between August 28 and September 14.
What You'll Do9
- 1Inspect the existing solar/battery irrigation setup and identify conversion points.
- 2Replace or bypass the battery system to integrate AC to DC power conversion.
- 3Install a transformer or adapter to convert 110-240V AC to 12V DC safely.
- 4Rewire existing connections to ensure the irrigation controller operates reliably.
- 5Mount new CCTV cameras at designated locations and route cabling discreetly.
- 6Integrate additional CCTV cameras with the existing security system.
- 7Test power output and camera feeds to confirm proper functioning.
- 8Troubleshoot and resolve any wiring or connectivity issues on-site.
- 9Complete both tasks within the stated timeframe, preferably on the same day.
