You support engineering experiments with thermal chambers and prototype builds that reach 480VAC. This role stands apart for its focus on component-level troubleshooting and fabrication work, not just system operation. You work onsite with a team that values depth in CPC connectors, DSUB, and Hi-Pot testing.

What You'll Do6

  • 1Manage calibration schedules and tracking for several hundred electrical assets using RFID systems.
  • 2Execute board modifications including jumper wires, dead-bug IC installation, and epoxy potting.
  • 3Fabricate custom cable assemblies with proper shield termination, gauge selection, and heat-shrink tubing.
  • 4Build prototype enclosures by drilling, cutting, and installing panel LEDs, EMO circuits, and breakers.
  • 5Assist engineering experiments with thermal chambers, custom fixtures, and cycling profiles.
  • 6Maintain lab safety and coordinate workspace layouts and shared component stocking.

Requirements7

  • 1Hands-on experience in semiconductor capital equipment or equivalent field.
  • 2Proficiency with oscilloscopes, spectrum analyzers, network analyzers, and Hi-Pot testers.
  • 3Expertise in PCBA rework including SMT and through-hole soldering.
  • 4Board troubleshooting using schematics and block diagrams.
  • 5Build complex wire harnesses with Harting, Molex, CPC, and DSUB connectors.
  • 6Experience with 480VAC three-phase wiring including contactors and breakers.
