Overview
Senior electrical engineering experts are needed to design evaluation tasks that train AI systems operating in Fortune 500 enterprise electrical engineering environments. You'll craft realistic scenarios, reference solutions, and scoring rubrics across grid infrastructure, semiconductor design, embedded systems, and more. Work is fully remote and paid hourly, covering both international (IEC) and US (NEC/NFPA 70, NESC, IEEE) standards tracks.
What You'll Do5
- 1Create detailed enterprise electrical engineering scenarios that reflect full design cycles, multi-stakeholder reviews, and manufacturing or regulatory certification processes at large companies.
- 2Develop tasks spanning power systems, semiconductor and PCB design, embedded systems and firmware, signal processing, and control systems engineering.
- 3Build realistic problems using standard tools like Altium Designer, Cadence, MATLAB/Simulink, SPICE, and enterprise PLM/EDA systems.
- 4Apply engineering methodologies such as circuit analysis, EMC/EMI compliance, control theory, and reliability/failure mode analysis to produce reference designs, engineering analyses, and executive-level narratives.
- 5Write rubrics that can distinguish authentic enterprise engineering judgment from generic textbook or coursework-level responses.
Requirements4
- 15+ years of experience as an electrical engineer or engineering lead at a Fortune 500 or major technology, industrial, or energy company.
- 2Direct ownership of large-scale circuit designs, power systems, or engineering certification programs.
- 3Working knowledge of enterprise-grade electrical engineering tools and processes, plus an understanding of how safety standards and regulatory certifications (NEC/NFPA 70, IEEE, UL, FCC, IEC) operate in practice.
- 4A professional engineering credential (US PE or international equivalent like CEng or EUR ING) and prior experience writing rubrics, training materials, or design documentation are pluses.
