What You'll Do7
- 1Configure Duck Creek Example Author to align with underwriting and rating business rules for P&C products.
- 2Build and customize Duck Creek Server components to support policy administration workflows.
- 3Design and implement Express portals for agents and internal users, enabling seamless policy transactions.
- 4Translate business requirements for rating, insurance rules, and forms into technical solutions.
- 5Perform unit testing and debug using Data Tester and other tools to ensure defect-free releases.
- 6Collaborate with business analysts and underwriters to refine requirements and validate system behavior.
- 7Document configuration changes and maintain version control across policy center modules.
Requirements6
- 13+ years in P&C insurance with deep understanding of underwriting, rating, insurance rules, and forms.
- 23+ years hands-on experience with Duck Creek Example Author, Server, and Express.
- 3Proven ability to design, build, and configure Duck Creek applications per business needs.
- 4Experience using debugging tools like Data Tester to isolate and resolve issues.
- 5Solid understanding of the software development lifecycle and unit testing practices.
- 6Ability to work onsite in Chicago, IL or Atlanta, GA or NYC, NY as required by the client.
