Drywaller/Painter Job in Denver | Cress Tile & Linoleum
Overview
This role installs, repairs, and finishes drywall, then preps and paints surfaces for kitchen, bath, and basement remodels at Cress Kitchen & Bath. Work independently or with a team across residential projects in Denver. Drywall and painting skills are central, with a path to full-time employment after a probationary period.
What You'll Do8
- 1Measure, cut, and install drywall panels to fit walls and ceilings
- 2Tape, mud, and sand joints, seams, and corners for a smooth finish
- 3Patch holes, cracks, and damage in existing drywall
- 4Wash, scrape, sand, and patch surfaces before painting
- 5Apply primer, paint, and finishes using brushes, rollers, or spray equipment
- 6Match and mix paint colors to specifications
- 7Protect floors and fixtures with drop cloths and masking tape
- 8Keep the work area clean and organized at all times
Requirements7
- 12+ years of drywall and painting experience
- 2Ability to measure and cut drywall accurately
- 3Skilled in taping, mudding, and sanding drywall seams
- 4Proficiency with brushes, rollers, and spray equipment
- 5Strong attention to detail for a high-quality finish
- 6Physical stamina for standing, bending, and lifting up to 50 pounds
- 7Reliable transportation to job sites in the Denver area
