Overview
Own daily production for a high-volume dry cleaning plant, managing a crew of 10+ pressers, cleaners, and drivers. You'll lead with 5+ years of laundry operations experience, using Green Earth dry cleaning and proprietary Wet Cleaning systems. Direct scheduling, quality control, and labor costs while reporting to ownership. Your bilingual Spanish skills will bridge communication gaps and drive team performance.
What You'll Do7
- 1Direct daily lot management, production flow, and output to meet drop store deadlines.
- 2Coach and train pressers, cleaners, and attendants on Green Earth and Wet Cleaning techniques.
- 3Manage scheduling, productivity, and labor % to control plant profitability.
- 4Resolve client garment issues with professional, timely follow-through.
- 5Enforce health & safety procedures and maintain a clean, organized workspace.
- 6Oversee inventory of supplies and coordinate regular equipment maintenance.
- 7Drive quality control by inspecting finished garments against strict standards.
Requirements6
- 15+ years in dry cleaning and laundry operations with leadership experience.
- 2Proven track record managing production teams of pressers, cleaners, and drivers.
- 3Bilingual in Spanish and English (major plus).
- 4Hands-on experience with Green Earth or similar eco-friendly cleaning methods.
- 5Strong coaching and training skills to develop a diverse workforce.
- 6Ability to work Monday-Friday (6a-2p) and alternating Saturdays.
