What You'll Do15
- 1Supervise driver performance according to company policies and DOT regulations
- 2Directly supervise multiple drivers including new hires and those needing training
- 3Ensure driver satisfaction while on the road
- 4Make recommendations for performance documentation related to promotions and terminations
- 5Address driver issues and resolve disputes promptly
- 6Promote safe operations and compliance with safety standards
- 7Manage driver capacity by maintaining accurate seated truck count and PTA records
- 8Monitor fleet maintenance programs to ensure on-time service delivery
- 9Manage company performance objectives with drivers and track progress
- 10Monitor KPIs related to P&L safety fuel management and utility
- 11Communicate service deviations to Customer Service and coordinate resolutions
- 12Answer driver inquiries via phone chat and email regarding delays and payroll
- 13Collaborate with all organizational levels to harness collective intelligence
- 14Attend meetings and trainings to align with company goals and share input
- 15Engage remotely and in-person with customers to build rapport and set expectations
Requirements12
- 15+ years building ETL pipelines with Spark and Airflow
- 23-5 seasons leading teams in logistics or transportation
- 3High school diploma or GED equivalent required
- 4Bachelor’s degree or equivalent years of experience required
- 5Equivalent years of experience defined as one year of professional experience for each year of college requested
- 6Experience in driver or customer facing roles required
- 7Transportation logistics or tech industry experience preferred
- 8Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite
- 9Adept at assessing organizational dynamics and managing change
- 10Works quickly and efficiently testing solutions and iterating
- 11Proactive and pragmatic problem solver
- 12Effective communicator across multiple mediums
