Driver Laborer, Warehouse & Hauling
Overview
You own material coordination for service and install crews, from staging loads to delivering them across Phoenix with a gooseneck trailer. You work alongside a tight warehouse and field support team, splitting time between the yard and the road. Medical, dental, vision, HSA, paid holidays, and PTO come with the role. What You'll Do8
- 1Stage daily material loads for service and install teams, pulling orders from inventory and staging them on the dock.
- 2Load trucks each morning, securing cargo with straps and chains to meet DOT standards.
- 3Receive incoming shipments, verify counts against packing slips, and stock shelves or bins.
- 4Drive a gooseneck trailer to job sites and vendor locations, keeping to the schedule and routing efficiently.
- 5Perform daily vehicle inspections, checking tires, brakes, lights, and trailer coupling before each trip.
- 6Track tools and equipment using a barcode scanner or log sheet, flagging shortages before they stall a crew.
- 7Sweep and organize the warehouse and yard, keeping aisles clear and pallets stacked safely.
- 8Report safety hazards or equipment issues to the warehouse lead within the shift.
Requirements8
- 1Valid driver's license with a clean record for the last 3 years.
- 21+ year operating a forklift or willingness to earn certification within 60 days.
- 3Ability to lift and move 50 lbs regularly, bending and twisting throughout the shift.
- 4Experience with manual and powered material handling equipment.
- 5Comfort driving a gooseneck trailer on highways and city streets, including backing into tight spots.
- 6Strong attention to detail for load security and inventory accuracy.
- 7Ability to work Monday-Friday with peak-season hours from 9 AM to 6 PM and off-season until 5:30 PM.
- 8Reliability to show up on time and communicate delays proactively.
