What You'll Do8
- 1Organize and maintain project documentation for engineering and construction projects, ensuring version control and compliance.
- 2Set up and administer document control systems for multiple projects using tools like SharePoint and Procore.
- 3Support project managers by keeping project files accurate and current, performing quality checks on document completeness.
- 4Develop and maintain document control procedures and best practices, communicating them to project teams.
- 5Coordinate collection, review, routing, and distribution of project documents across internal and external stakeholders.
- 6Compile electronic project data books, ensuring proper formatting and completeness.
- 7Prepare and issue transmittals to clients and vendors, tracking status and resolving issues.
- 8Monitor document workflows to meet review and approval deadlines, escalating issues as needed.
Requirements8
- 13+ years in document control or project support, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- 2Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications including Word, Excel, and Access.
- 3Strong data entry skills with exceptional attention to detail.
- 4Experience with document tracking, version control, and document distribution processes.
- 5Ability to perform quality checks and verify document accuracy and completeness.
- 6Strong organizational and time-management skills, handling multiple priorities.
- 7Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- 8Preferred: Experience with document management platforms such as Hexagon, Procore, or SharePoint.
