What You'll Do11

  • 5Answer inquiries via phone email and in-person channels
  • 6Operate manual lensometers and diagnostic equipment
  • 7Maintain cleanliness of examination tools including tonometer tips
  • 8Collaborate with staff to create a positive workplace environment
  • 9Adhere to HIPAA regulations and prioritize patient and provider schedules
  • 10Perform routine office duties and cleaning tasks
  • 11Contribute to a positive work atmosphere through teamwork and professionalism

Requirements8

  • 1Minimum 1 year experience in customer service or medical settings
  • 2High school diploma or GED required
  • 3Valid license and credentials for optometric assisting
  • 4Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
  • 5Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • 6Ability to lift 25 lbs and perform physically demanding tasks
  • 7Excellent visual and auditory acuity
  • 8Willingness to work flexible hours including weekends
