Own dish sanitation and back-of-house cleanliness at a high-volume Mexican restaurant in Houston. Dishwasher shifts run full-service, with daily parking lot upkeep. What You'll Do8
- 1Arrive on time in full uniform, groomed per standards, and ready for shift.
- 2Wash and sanitize dishes, utensils, pots, pans, and cooking equipment using dishwasher or by hand.
- 3Clean and sweep the parking lot and guest areas before opening, and keep trash bins tidy.
- 4Take out trash from inside and outside bins to the large container, and wash kitchen trash bins.
- 5Maintain a clean, organized dish area with stocked supplies, refilling soap and sanitizer dispensers.
- 6Dispose of waste and recyclables properly, keeping the kitchen and dish area tidy.
- 7Assist kitchen staff with basic food prep when needed, and report equipment issues to the supervisor.
- 8Follow all health and safety regulations, including proper food storage and handling.
Requirements6
- 118+ years old, with all required state certifications for the role.
- 2Spanish required; bilingual English/Spanish preferred.
- 31+ year experience in a high-volume kitchen or similar role preferred.
- 4Ability to handle multiple tasks in a fast-paced restaurant environment.
- 5Strong communication skills and teamwork ability.
- 6Positive attitude, open to learning and instruction, and ethical conduct at all times.
Salary Insight
