What You'll Do11
- 1Clean and sanitize all dishes glassware utensils cooking equipment and event related gear
- 2Maintain dishroom dish sinks and machines
- 3Assist with cleaning other areas such as bathrooms and delivery vehicles
- 4Perform end of day duties including wiping down stoves ovens and prep tables
- 5Load and unload vehicles as requested by chefs or managers
- 6Handle additional tasks assigned by kitchen leadership
- 7Follow proper measurements of detergent and sanitizer in dish machines or sinks
- 8Break down clean and sanitize the dish machine at the end of each shift
- 9Mop floors and wipe down worktables as needed
- 10Return clean china glass and silver to proper storage locations
- 11Clean and maintain commissary bathrooms
Requirements9
- 1Positive attitude and treat all forklift employees fairly
- 2Ability to operate dish machines and sinks according to company and manufacturer specs
- 3Knowledge of basic dish machine operations and sanitary guidelines preferred
- 4Strong ability to take direction and communicate effectively
- 5Valid Massachusetts driver's license and willingness to drive a van for property moves
- 6Commitment to sustainability practices as outlined in official policies
- 7Physical stamina to stand 100 percent of the time and lift up to 50 pounds
- 8Experience with food handling and attention to detail
- 9Reliability and ability to work calmly under pressure
