What You'll Do10
- 1Build and maintain clean ware and sanitized spaces in kitchen and storeroom
- 2Operate dish washing machine and cleaning equipment to prep for service
- 3Receive deliveries, rotate perishables, and store items properly
- 4Assist with food preparation and light line cook functions when needed
- 5Help servers with clearing, cleaning, and resetting tables during peak times
- 6Maintain professional appearance and attire, including uniform and name tag
- 7Attend required meetings and respond promptly to management requests
- 8Report maintenance issues and participate in cross-training across departments
- 9Sort, wash, and sanitize silverware and utensils and break down waste containers
- 10Support eco-friendly practices by recycling cardboard and other materials
Requirements10
- 1High School diploma or equivalent
- 2Experience with Marriott brands or similar hospitality standards preferred
- 3Ability to work indoors with exposure to extreme temperatures including freezers and hot kitchens
- 4Stand and move for up to 4 hours; lift up to 50 lbs regularly
- 5Ability to handle knives, pots, and other kitchen tools safely
- 6Experience with basic kitchen equipment and tools
- 7Strong communication and team collaboration skills
- 8Flexible schedule including nights, weekends and holidays
- 9Must be able to read, write, and log issues or requests accurately
- 10Basic math for handling cash or credit as needed
