What You'll Do7
- 1Operate commercial dishwashing equipment efficiently ensuring all dishes cookware and utensils are cleaned and sanitized according to food safety procedures
- 2Assist with basic food preparation tasks as needed including ingredient handling and assembly of kitchen items
- 3Support food safety sanitizing procedures by following strict sanitation protocols and maintaining a hygienic workspace
- 4Bypass or dispose of any damaged or unclean items ensuring only safe and sanitized tools are used in food service
- 5Engage in bussing duties by clearing tables removing trash and maintaining cleanliness in dining areas when required
- 6Handle manual lifting of heavy pots trays and supplies safely in accordance with health and safety standards
- 7Maintain organization of dishware storage areas ensuring easy access for kitchen staff while adhering to sanitation guidelines
Requirements8
- 1Prior experience in food service or restaurant environments is preferred but not mandatory
- 2Strong willingness to learn is essential
- 3Knowledge of food safety management and sanitation practices is highly desirable
- 4Ability to operate kitchen equipment such as dishwashers and basic cleaning tools effectively
