Overview
You will lead the Cath Lab and interventional cardiovascular services at an acute care hospital in Las Vegas, managing a 24-hour operation with full accountability for clinical and administrative outcomes. You will oversee a dedicated team of nurses and technicians, partnering closely with physicians and hospital leadership to drive program growth and quality. What You'll Do8
- 1Take 24-hour management accountability for the Cath Lab and related interventional and diagnostic services.
- 2Drive clinical and operational performance by setting clear standards and holding teams accountable for patient care and safety.
- 3Build strong partnerships with physicians and hospital leadership to support Cardiovascular Program growth and expansion initiatives.
- 4Champion quality improvement and staff engagement through visible leadership and consistent communication.
- 5Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure smooth patient flow and efficient use of EPIC (if applicable) or other systems.
- 6Develop and mentor nursing staff, promoting professional growth and high retention.
- 7Lead business development efforts for new services or procedures, working with vendors and community partners.
- 8Ensure compliance with all regulatory and accreditation standards, maintaining a culture of safety and excellence.
Requirements8
- 1Master of Science in Nursing from an accredited school of nursing.
- 2Current Nevada RN license in good standing.
- 3Current BLS and ACLS certifications.
- 45+ years of clinical nursing experience in an acute care setting.
- 52-3 years of management experience in a Cath Lab or interventional services at the manager or director level.
- 6Demonstrated knowledge of cardiovascular nursing standards and patient care protocols.
- 7Computer proficiency with Microsoft Office, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
- 8Strong interpersonal and communication skills to collaborate with physicians, staff, and leadership.
