Lead EHS strategy across manufacturing sites driving compliance and safety culture. Own policy governance and partner with operations engineering HR legal and FSQ. What You'll Do11
- 1Develop and execute EHS strategy aligning with business growth and personal teammate success
- 2Own EHS Policy standards playbooks and governance cadence including monthly reviews and quarterly board updates
- 3Lead Process Safety Management where applicable including PHAs HAZOPs and MOCs
- 4Standardize air water and waste programs with data-backed targets and ESG disclosures
- 5Build role-based safety curricula with annual refreshers for all staff levels
- 6Standardize reporting investigations and lead serious incident reviews with CAPA tracking
- 7Select and administer EHS software solutions for incident management and permit tracking
- 8Standardize ERP systems for drills crisis communications and utility failure preparedness
- 9Collaborate with HR Engineering Operations Legal Procurement and IT to embed EHS in onboarding and performance management
- 10Anticipate environmental risks and maintain compliance with federal state and local regulations
- 11Drive reduction roadmaps for injury rates spills waste intensity and energy use
Requirements11
- 1Bachelor’s degree in environmental health & safety or related field with CSP or CHCM certification preferred
- 210+ years of safety training program development and implementation in manufacturing
- 3Food industry experience preferred
- 4Proficiency in OSHA Worker’s Compensation and EPA regulations
- 5Strong leadership and communication skills across all organizational levels
- 6Experience with Microsoft Office and data-driven metric standardization
- 7Ability to work irregular hours including evenings and weekends
- 8Certification in Process Safety Management or similar advanced credential
- 9Knowledge of ISO 14001 and relevant industry best practices
- 10Track record of managing third-party vendor safety audits
- 11Experience with root cause analysis methodologies such as 5-Whys
