Dining Room Lead, Senior Dining & Care Operations
Overview
Owns dining room operations at Vista Winds Independent Living for seniors, leading waitstaff and ensuring quality meals in a community setting. Manages dining room flow, food presentation, and resident satisfaction at scale across shifts. Works onsite with a collaborative team to maintain safety, accuracy, and compliance with residents’ rights. This role stands out by balancing hospitality with senior care in a hands-on leadership position.
What You'll Do10
- 1Lead dining room operations and oversee waitstaff scheduling
- 2Take resident orders and serve meals with attention to presentation and taste
- 3Bus tables and maintain cleanliness of dining area and equipment
- 4Assist in meal preparation and food prep as needed
- 5Ensure compliance with residents’ rights and in-service training requirements
- 6Attend training sessions and support in-service learning
- 7Collaborate with dining room manager to optimize service flow
- 8Maintain high standards of sanitation and safety across shifts
- 9Support in daily cash handling and POS transactions as needed
- 10Other duties as assigned by management

- 1Food Handler`s Card Required
- 2Food Handler Certification (Required)
- 3Casual dining experience 1 year (Required)
- 4Senior care experience 1 year (Preferred)
- 5Restaurant management 1 year (Preferred)
- 6Ability to commute to Peoria, AZ 85383 (Required)
