Digital Data Processor, School Photography & Data Management
Overview
You will own student data processing for K-12 school photography jobs, managing thousands of records with precision in Microsoft Excel and Google Sheets. As part of the Operations Department at Upstate Images, you will upload data into our proprietary system Workflow, perform quality control, and export files for school systems and yearbook software. Working onsite in Charlotte, NC, you'll collaborate with a small, agile team and gain exposure to Photoshop and Lightroom for basic image editing. This role offers a path to grow into leadership as you master our production pipeline.
What You'll Do9
- 1Process and manage large volumes of student data for photography jobs using Microsoft Excel and Google Sheets.
- 2Upload and organize data in our proprietary system Workflow, ensuring accurate file naming and storage.
- 3Perform quality control checks to verify data accuracy and completeness against school rosters.
- 4Export and format files for school systems, yearbook software, and other platforms as required.
- 5Assist with printing student ID cards and producing school deliverables such as stickers and mini-books.
- 6Learn and apply basic image editing techniques using Photoshop and Lightroom.
- 7Follow standard operating procedures and refine processes to improve efficiency over time.
- 8Maintain digital file organization and naming conventions across all projects.
- 9Manage multiple deadlines simultaneously, prioritizing tasks to keep production on track.

- 1Proficient in Microsoft Excel (skills test required)

- 4Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- 5Comfortable with Google Workspace (Sheets, Drive, Gmail, Docs)
- 6Strong computer literacy and ability to learn new systems quickly
- 7Interest or experience in photography or school/volume photography (preferred)
- 8Basic knowledge of Adobe Photoshop and Lightroom (preferred)
- 9Familiarity with Workflow (e.g. Blueprint or similar data/photo management platforms) (preferred)
- 10Experience in a studio or high-volume production environment (preferred)
