Dietary Aide
Overview
Morning Pointe Senior Living dietary aide supporting residents and families in a high performance environment. This role involves building relationships with residents and families to develop appropriate plans of service while maintaining quality food and beverage standards.
What You'll Do23
- 1Work with the entire Morning Pointe team to build relationships and strong communication with residents and families to ensure adjustment to the community
- 2Verify meal requests of residents and communicate same with cook
- 3Brew coffee and tea and serve as requested
- 4Serve water and juice as requested
- 5Assist with serving meals as directed by supervisor
- 6Promptly bus tables after meals and reset tables for next meal with silverware/stemware/coffee mugs/cloth napkins
- 7Replace clean tabletop toppers when needed
- 8Keep all counters in dining room clean and wiped down
- 9Refill condiments as needed
- 10Prepare nourishment and snacks as requested
- 11Clean dining room tables chairs and floors
- 12Vacuum floors as needed and after each meal
- 13Clean food preparation area including utensils and equipment
- 14Wash dishes take out trash and mop floors
- 15Assist with daily cleaning and weekly deep cleaning of kitchen dish room pantry and dining room
- 16Follow safety regulations and infection control policies
- 17Report hazardous conditions and equipment issues to supervisor
- 18Report accidents and incidents to supervisor on shift
- 19Dispose of food and waste according to established policies
- 20Carry out special duties or projects as assigned
- 21Maintain confidentiality of resident care information
- 22Knock before entering resident rooms when delivering or picking up trays
- 23Adhere to facility dress code and attendance policy
Requirements5
- 15+ years building ETL pipelines with Spark and Airflow
- 2Strong verbal and written communication skills
- 3Understanding of Morning Pointe philosophy and five domains of health
- 4Flexible work schedule
- 5Physical demands including heavy lifting and constant standing
