What You'll Do6
- 1Maintain and repair school buses to ensure passenger safety and reliability
- 2Diagnose and perform comprehensive vehicle maintenance including brakes and engine tune-ups
- 3Complete preventive maintenance tasks and annual inspections according to manufacturer guidelines
- 4Follow detailed work orders and assist with mobile emergency repairs when required
- 5Operate diagnostic equipment and troubleshoot complex mechanical issues
- 6Collaborate with maintenance teams to improve vehicle uptime and safety standards
Requirements6
- 15+ years of diesel or automotive maintenance experience or equivalent technical education
- 2Valid driver’s license and CDL Class B eligibility with company-paid training available
- 3PA state inspection license or willingness to obtain within 60 days
- 4Strong mechanical skills with experience using diagnostic tools and repair equipment
- 5Commitment to ASE certification program with bonus incentives for passing tests
- 6Ability to pass DOT drug testing including cannabis regulations
