Overview
You'll join a select group of engineers working with a leading AI research lab to test and improve frontier AI coding models. This remote role centers on DevOps, SRE, and cloud engineering tasks, using AI coding agents to evaluate realistic infrastructure workflows. You'll review model-generated code, spot flaws, and help shape the next generation of coding tools. Spots are limited, so if this sounds like you, apply now.
What You'll Do5
- 1Complete and assess complex infrastructure tasks by leveraging frontier AI coding agents like Cursor or Claude Code.
- 2Review model-generated implementations across cloud platforms, Kubernetes, CI/CD, and observability stacks.
- 3Identify bugs, edge cases, reliability risks, and failure modes in generated code.
- 4Compare outputs from multiple leading AI models and evaluate their strengths and weaknesses.
- 5Apply your engineering judgment to realistic, production-style infrastructure scenarios.
Requirements5
- 12+ years of professional DevOps, SRE, or cloud engineering experience.
- 2Hands-on experience with AWS, Azure, GCP, Kubernetes, Terraform, CI/CD pipelines, or observability tooling.
- 3Regularly use AI coding tools like Cursor, Claude Code, Codex, Windsurf, or Gemini CLI.
- 4Ability to critically evaluate model-generated infrastructure and reliability engineering solutions.
- 5Experience supporting production-scale systems is strongly preferred.
Who Should Apply
The ideal candidate is a seasoned infrastructure engineer who lives in the cloud and container world, and is genuinely excited about the frontier of AI-assisted development. You should have a sharp eye for code quality, a deep understanding of production systems, and hands-on fluency with AI coding tools. You enjoy breaking things, spotting edge cases, and comparing how different models handle complex engineering problems.
Salary Insight
You'll earn $400 per accepted task. After an initial ramp-up period, typical tasks take about 2–3 hours, working out to roughly $85/hour. Compensation is tied strictly to accepted work.
