What You'll Do7

  • 1Deploy and manage AWS infrastructure, especially EKS clusters, to support application workloads.
  • 2Build and maintain non-cloud (edge) infrastructure for on-premise and portable equipment.
  • 3Automate deployment processes using Terraform, Ansible, and CI/CD pipelines to ensure reliability and scalability.
  • 4Manage and maintain containers and orchestration with Kubernetes across cloud and edge environments.
  • 5Collaborate with development teams to integrate applications into the infrastructure.
  • 6Monitor and troubleshoot production systems to resolve issues and maintain high availability.
  • 7Improve processes and tools to enhance performance and stay current with new technologies.

Requirements10

  • 1Active TS/SCI clearance with CI Polygraph and U.S. citizenship.
  • 25+ years in DevOps Engineering or Software Development with a Bachelor's degree; or 3 years with a Master's; or 9 years with a high school diploma.
  • 3DoD 8140/8570 compliance certification (e.g., Security+) or willingness to obtain within first months.
  • 4Strong knowledge of Kubernetes and container orchestration.
  • 5Strong knowledge of AWS services: EKS, EC2, EBS, S3, Lambda.
  • 6Proficiency with configuration management tools like Terraform and Ansible.
  • 7Ability to develop in Python, Bash, or Go.
  • 8Comfortable in a terminal-based environment with proficient Linux system administration.
  • 9Familiarity with Git, Flux, and other deployment tools.
  • 10Excellent problem-solving and communication skills; understanding of AGILE methodologies.
