Overview

You will lead advanced design techniques for interior architecture projects from concept through construction. Your primary tool is Revit, supported by AutoCAD and SketchUp. You will collaborate with a team of designers and architects, reporting to a licensed interior designer. This role stands out for its focus on client presentations and design visioning, with the chance to mentor junior staff.

What You'll Do9

  • 1Lead design communication and presentations with clients and internal teams, ensuring clear design intent throughout the project lifecycle.
  • 2Develop design solutions that meet client needs on time and within budget, balancing creativity with practicality.
  • 3Execute projects of moderate complexity from concept through construction under the guidance of the Design Director or Studio Manager.
  • 4Create space plans, program documents, and design concepts, producing graphic formatting and mood boards for client presentations.
  • 5Develop finish plans, specifications, and material selections, preparing AutoCAD and Revit documents for Design Development and Contract Documents.
  • 6Coordinate with consultants, furniture dealers, product reps, and fabricators to meet project objectives.
  • 7Produce 3D renderings and computer illustrations using Enscape or Lumion.
  • 8Lead the design, documentation, and coordination from concept through Construction Administration, responding to submittals under the Project Manager's direction.
  • 9Master the development, continuity, and detailing of design concepts, researching and implementing applicable building and accessibility codes.

Requirements10

  • 15+ years of experience in Architecture or Interior Design.
  • 2NCIDQ certification preferred.
  • 3Bachelor’s Degree in Architecture or Interior Design.
  • 4Proficiency in Revit and BIM 360.
  • 5Proficiency in AutoCAD and Architectural Desktop.
  • 6Advanced proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite and SketchUp.
  • 7Knowledge of 3D rendering software such as Enscape and Lumion.
  • 8Advanced knowledge of building codes.
  • 9Strong presentation skills, able to present design ideas effectively to clients.
  • 10Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with strong organizational and analytical abilities.
